Cyber Security Awareness Volunteer Education Program
IT Professionals helping America's young people stay safe and secure online.
NCSA launched the Cyber Security Awareness Volunteer Education Project (C-SAVE) in the spring of 2009. Inspired by our diverse partners in government, industry and other nonprofit organizations, C-SAVE is a program to encourage and support security and IT professionals, as well as other knowledgeable about cyber security, to put their knowledge and expertise to work in local schools.
By volunteering you can help reach many, many young people in need of information about how to use the Internet safely and securely and support teachers in helping them educate their students about staying safe online. In addition, C-SAVE can open up the idea of cybersecurity as a career choice.
