Good information on keeping a low profile on Facebook
Submitted by Michael Kaiser on Fri, 05/01/2009 - 1:55pm.
More and more people are turning to social networks to keep in touch with friends and familiy and expand their personal networks. Facebook, one of the most popular social networking sites, has more than 200 million users.
How do you manage your social networking presence to maintain some privacyG and only let those that you want to be in know actually see your posts and particpate as your friend? Those questions and more are answered in this informative article by Kim Komando in this article in USA Today.
If social networks are around to stay, and I certainly beleive they are, then we need to learn how to use them in ways that help us not hurt us. We all know the phrase "too much information" used when people share details of their lives we'd prefer not to hear. As technology infuses are lives, we need to find the balance of what to share and what to keep private. It will be an ongoing debate.
