National Cybersecurity Awareness Month portal launched; time to get involved
Submitted by maurak on Mon, 07/26/2010 - 5:36pm.
After months of preparing materials and updating content, the National Cyber Security Alliance is excited to announce our site portal launch for National Cyber Security Awareness Month 2010!
We are preparing for 2010 to be the biggest NCSAM yet. Our portal provides valuable insight on how every citizen can join in the theme of Our Shared Responsibility and spread the message of cybersecurity to their family, friends, and community.
New and Improved Features:
• Banners, Posters, More!: Updated graphic materials, including posters, Web banners, and buttons
• NCSAM Tip Sheets: New tip sheets about social networking, mobile devices, and online gaming
• Additional Awareness Resources: Links to other organizations’ awareness and education materials
How You Can Participate:
• Get Involved: By visiting our revived “Get Involved” page, you can participate in cybersecurity education and awareness, no matter what your role is. Everyone is capable of having an impact.
• Endorse NCSAM: Endorsing NCSAM is also a great way to contribute. The NCSA is aiming for 500 NCSAM endorsers this year, and we strongly encourage you and your organization to join us in reaching this goal. Endorsing is easy and free!
• Submit an Event: The NCSA wants to know what you are doing for NCSAM. If you have any events that you’d like us to post on our calendar, please submit them at.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to spreading the message of cybersecurity. Here’s to the best NCSAM yet!
