Data Privacy Day is celebrated on January 28th every year to help spread awareness about
protecting your personal data. While Data Privacy Day is only a day, it's a yearlong campaign
to help everyone stay safe online.

Last year was the first year the National Cyber Security Alliance managed the campaign since its inception and it was a stellar success with more than 136 million media impressions worldwide.

Companies, individuals and countries celebrated by writing blogs, launching events, providing discounts for products, hosting an internal brown bag lunch to educate employees and much more.

protect your personal information.

The sky is the limit and that is what we are aiming for in 2013. From now until January 28th, if
you haven't done so already, start gearing up for Data Privacy Day. Think about what it means
to you so you can confidently own your online presence, be web wise and a good online citizen.
