Downloading and File-sharing

File-sharing allows users to exchange files online, such as music and games. It’s done when you install software that connects your computer with an informal network of other computers running the same software. Sharing media is fun, but very risky. You could accidently download spyware; you could mistakenly download a copyrighted file; or you could download pornography labeled as something else.
If you’re considering file-sharing, be sure to carefully install file-sharing software on your computer so that you know what’s being shared. Also, take the time to read the End User License Agreement to be sure that you're sharing files legally and that you understand the potentially high risk of free downloads.
