CyberSecure My Business

Reduce third-party risk with practical cybersecurity training for your vendors

Cyberattacks increasingly originate through small, third-party vendors—those least prepared to defend themselves. When your vendors fail assessments, we give them a path to real improvement, not just another checkbox.

Most third-party risk tools only flag problems, our program helps solve them. Cybersecure My Business is a mission-driven training initiative led by the National Cybersecurity Alliance, a trusted 501(c)(3) that gives small and mid-sized vendors the practical knowledge they need to improve cybersecurity from the top down.

What We Offer

LIVE COHORT TRAINING

Led by expert instructors: Focused on leadership-level decision making. Includes certificates of completion and documentation for audits

On-Demand Access

Train hundreds of vendors at their own pace: Simple, self-serve access. Ideal for low-touch remediation

Reporting & Documentation

Completion reports by cohort: Curriculum overviews for audit readiness. Optional quarterly summaries

Who It’s For

  • The training is for non-technical leadership of a small/medium sized business.

  • We work with third-party risk teams to train their vendors.

  • We work with banks and financial institutions to train their customers.

  • We work with insurers to train their insureds.

  • We work with corporate franchises to train their franchisees.

  • If you have small business stakeholders we can train them.

Why it Works

  • We’re a nonprofit. We don’t upsell your vendors or pitch follow-up services. Our only goal is to improve cyber resilience across the supply chain.

  • We’re a remediation partner. Risk tools highlight issues—our program helps fix them.

  • We’re built for real-world vendors. Training is designed for busy business leaders, not IT departments.

What Participants Learn

  • How to put low or no-cost cybersecurity policies in place (e.g. password management, payments, communications)

  • Identify and reduce exposure to business-focused cybercrime and scams (like BEC and ransomware)

  • Communicate more effectively with their MSPs or IT vendors

  • Inventory and assess systems and risks using provided templates- Plan for incidents and cyber insurance

Pretty Please for Business: Prioritizing AppSec

Implementing a secure software development lifecycle, running a vulnerability management program, and OWASP Top Ten training for developers are all great elements of an application security program, but what if you’re lacking leadership support for any or all of those programs? What if your C-Suite understands the risks, but doesn’t want to add any additional time or cost to your product launch or your current sprint?
