AI and the Future of Phishing: Interactive Tool

Artificial intelligence has revolutionized scams and phishing. Scammers can use large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and other AI tools to craft very convincing messages and even target their emails to specific people.

AI Phishing

The days of phishing being defined by generic greetings, misspellings, and grammar mistakes are over.

But just like in the early days of the web, you can still spot scams by watching for messages that spark a sense of urgency. We'd like to show you how phishing works in the age of AI.

See how scammers use AI for phishing

We've partnered with the non-profit CivAI.org to bring you an interactive tool that shows how AI is changing the phishing landscape in real time.

Safety Warning: This experience is for educational purposes only. Never use your actual credentials or real-world passwords in this or any other simulation.

Here's how it works:

  • Pick a target: Choose a public figure. The tool will show you how attackers can use AI to personalize phishing emails and spearphish people.

  • Instant AI profiling: The software will analyze publicly available information to assess the target person's vulnerabilities and potential strategies to exploit them.

  • AI-generated email: The AI will then generate a custom phishing email targeting that person. Read it, reply, or click the link to see what happens next — and where it really leads. (Don't worry, it's all simulated!)
